    I was looking back to some images from last year and found this one that I really liked...

    These guys will certainly be on display in both February and March during David Hemmings and My - Vancouver Island Workshops (see link below)

    It seems it could use a little CW rotation, and I would suggest to crop a bit from the bottom and remove the centered catchlight. But light, pose, BG, colors, detail and low angle are superb.

    Great low angle and light Glen. Love the way the BG compliments the bird.

    Great low angle Beautiful color good BG I would wonder about removing the white reflection in the water. Overall excellent

    Nice one Glenn. Love the open mouth and the feel of the water. the second catlight bugs me, but doesnt bother me:)

    Love the low angle, sharpness, background and exposure. The open beak puts it over the top. 2nd catch light doesn't bother me. JR

    Super low angle, and I like the light, detail and colours in this. The shape of the head is unique, good to see the open beak, and love the DOF in this.

    Glenn: Nice image. The CW rotation may just be an illusion. Since the bird is going away just slightly, the wake looks like it isn't perfectly level. Hard to tell for sure.

    I like the low angle and quacking pose. The brown toned setting is effective too.
