Photographed in early June near Corpus Christi, TX. I guess that the brown wing tips indicate that this might be a Juvenile.

    Thanks in advance. JR

Nice light, pose, and exposure. I like the stormy looking BG. I wish the near wing was raised a bit higher, but other than that, excellent!

Good flyby and eye contact. I wish the near wing were higher and agree regarding more sharpening.

Ditto that. Great flight pose and details, just needs crisping up, :). Nice one TFS

Agreed on near wing and a bit more sharpening. Well done, lovely BIF image. Thanks for sharing.

Nice shot, love the colors and eye contact. wish for the near wing to be higher, it is also a bit soft, I would sharpen more.

Ditto all of the above, and I would clean up the darkish blotch below center. Good comp on this flight image.

Thank you all for the feedback. I guess the verdict re sharpening is final. :) Went back and resharpened again after resizing. Perhaps I forgot it in the OP. Is this better?

But I actually like the near-wing position. High enough that one can see some details but not too high to obscure the far wing. To me having a view of the top and bottom side of the wings in the same BIF picture is the best.

    Thanks, JR

Well exposed John, and agree on needing another round of USM.
