    Pretty well nailed it Chris. Just enough detail in the head to see the eye and whites are good, as is comp.

    I like the pose and eye contact and might try to even out highlights and shadows a bit more. What kind of tern is this?

    I like the detail from the nearer underwing, and a good hovering posture captured Chris. Comp works well too.

    Great pose and sharpness. The area around the eye looks a bit strange. Did you use shadow recovery to bring out detail in the head? The whites directly adjacent look hot here. JR
