    Default Common Kingfisher

Yup, it's that time of year again in Israel, as just about all bird photographers are rushing out to
    capture these guys.
Yesterday I had my first crack at them this year with a new perch.
I set up in a female territory but today she did not land with any fish on the perch...maybe next time.

Brilliant IQ Danny, and I like the pose. The KF is nice and sharp, and you have exposed the colours very well. The linchen adds to the perch, although I would tone down the other areas of the perch. Looking forward to more.

Striking image. Great detail where it counts. I agree with toning down the perch just a bit.

I like the perch, composition, pose and sharpness and might only lighten the eye a bit. Have fun with these beautiful birds.

Beautiful. Great colors, sharpness and background. Feel the branch is a bit bright though.
