    Default Hummers in Action

Always in August around the Mid-west the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds become extremely active as they protect their feeders. I got up at sunrise and photographed a bunch of hummers fighting over our feeders. I was especially happy with this image of a especially agressive male. This was taken without benefit of fill flash and I am very interested in your opinions of the quality. Thanks for your thoughts. I don't know where the BG pixilation came from, must be in the conversion to JPG, sorry.

Your image is posted at only 32kb, you can go to 200kb. It looks like the image has potential once resized properly but at ISO 1600 and only 1/400SS, you will need some good PP skills to get acceptable IQ.

I think you mean KB, not MB.

I agree, it's a good photo but it is heavily compressed so we can't see the details :( Please repost with high quality JPEG settings :)
