Always in August around the Mid-west the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds become extremely active as they protect their feeders. I got up at sunrise and photographed a bunch of hummers fighting over our feeders. I was especially happy with this image of a especially agressive male. This was taken without benefit of fill flash and I am very interested in your opinions of the quality. Thanks for your thoughts. I don't know where the BG pixilation came from, must be in the conversion to JPG, sorry.
