Something a bit different than my usual. Playing around with two images of Great Egrets chasing each other. Photoshop CS4, blending modes(I think exclusion, but could have been difference?)
    comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill

Hi Bill, Interesting and different use of effects. You called it blended but for my taste it's a bit too blended. I have a tendancy to go for less complex images and this is very busy and hard to define without making an effort to take it apart. I think this type of image would work better using a simpler composition.

Bill, You finally did it. You crossed over to the darkside:eek:. I find myself loving this artistic impression!! It's very creative and I like the different elements. I can see Dave's point and this image may not appeal to some-But I still like it alot. I wish the wing tip wasn't clipped and I might take a sliver off the bottom and add a sliver to the top.

My first thought was this is a tripper of an image. Real OOTB stuff Bill. While certainly busy and somewhat easy to lose oneself within there is oodles of appeal for my eyes inside the boundaries. I am liking it lots. thanks for sharing mate. :)

Very interesting effects you used, Bill. Agree on it being rather busy, but I still really like it. Has lots of appeal IMO :).

Thanks! Good suggestions, as usual, Denise, and Dave I appreciate the honest critical assessment! Can't say I agree, but I can't disagree with your reasoning. In experimental works as presented here I could go either way if I were to give my own critique. regards~Bill
