From mid-January at Point Lookout, Long Island. A group of bonapartes gulls was grabbing morsels out of a churning sea. Light was from behind so the only hope was a look-back. This bird obliged.

Well done, I think the bakground adds a lot of interest to this image, a little more room at the front of the bird maybe a little from the back, but I would be very happy with it as is if it were mine.
