    Took this this morning, sun was low behind the bird. Comments appreciated.

    Sharp where it has to be. I like how I can just see the red crown. Also the diagonal works well. I would crop a bit off the left side as the tree trunk is a little dominant for my taste. Something like this, though you cannot crop too much as you'll end up with Woodie kissing the frame edge. Though I think why I find the trunk a little distracting is for the lack of sharpness especially toward the LLC. Thanks for sharing.

    That is a nice clean image Mark. Good BKGR and eye contact.

    I agree the OOF trunk bottom left is a little dominant in the frame.

    Good eye contact, and I like the sharp detail around the head. Akos's repost works well, and I see he lightened the eye too.

    Agree with the LLC being a bit dominant. I like the repost. Nice work with the light you were working with.

    Agree that the perch is too dominate. The repost helps with this. Nice work on the exposure and the BG is nice.

    Hi Mark, I agree with above and do like Akos repost. Great job capturing this bird at this angle, don't see this often.

    Good find and angle. Adding to the other comments, could you have backed up to get the entire bird in the frame?
