I see you're chomping at the bit to find some birds with that big lens of yours. But with spiders this big, they'll be back just only if they're looking to eat.....

I like the detail in the yellow and blue parts of this spider, I just wish the black parts didn't merge into the background.

    Hi Oscar,
I like this little guy...you have sharp details, would have liked to have seen Mr. Spider just a tad more to the left and up on the frame...could open the shadows around the body a little bit more...looking forward to your next one...

Like the web contrasting with the black BG Oscar. Agree with Gus about opening up the shadows a bit, maybe that would separate him from the BG a bit more:)

Oscar, This has a real artistic look to it w/ the dramatic BG. I agree w/ placing him more in the corner. Well done!!

    Hi Oscar

Those long lenses are good for bugs !!! Glad your putting it good use !! Agree with Gus and suggestions and I find spiders the most difficult to shoot, probably my lowest keeper rate !!!

    Gus:
Tried to lighten the shadows and crop to get it as much as possible towards the top/left of frame.
