I love the pose and that yellow gape is really cool. Exposure appears perfect. I checked the levels in CS4 and it appears that the whites are on or very close to the 255 mark. Nevertheless, I don't feel it's crucial. Don't know what your PP was but it looks darn fine to me. :) thanks for sharing. :)

Great shot Denise! I really like the sharpness, warm light on the head/neck area and the eye! The whites are white and maybe you can recover them a bit but it looks good as is. :)

Hi Denise. Great open-bill pose! The exposure looks fine on my monitor, but I don't mind bleeding-edge whites. I also think the DOF looks fine. I would crop the image a little looser though. I'm not sure I've ever taken a photo at ISO 100! :D

Great looking bird denise with good detail in blacks and very close whites. Love the beak, eye and orange in mouth. A beauty for sure.

This is the best image of a razor bill in terms of exposure and detail I have seen. I would have put more canvas at the left and a little more at the top.

Very nice done, Denise. Beautiful EXP control, I may sharpen the eye some more.

Ditto Fabs. Looks like that overcast light sure helped with the exposure!

Excellent exposure all round Denise, and well timed to get the open beak. I like the softer pastel colour in the BG. Great image.

Great pose, exposure and sharpness. Love that you can see the eye well and the open bill of course. Congrats, JR

Way Cool. Maybe a little more selective contrast on the highlight in the eye. I am sitting in the Northern Pacific, never seen this bird, love the beak. The lighting is perfect to capture this birds plumage.

The open bill and perfect exposure makes this so good Denise. The little bit of yellow/orange peeking out from the mouth just brings everything together. Excellent shot!!!
