    “Afternoon Delight”

This pretty lady was painted with a Nikon D3, using a Nikkor 200mm f/4 IF-ED macro lens with a Nikkor 12mm extension tube.

    Image Solution:
focal length @ 200mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / in camera matrix metering / 1/250sec. - f/32 / exposure comp @ 0EV / ISO @ 1000 / white balance @ auto / AF - Mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution - Nikon R1C1 wireless close up speedlight system; both light units set to minimum fill flash with a wide dispersal pattern and attached diffuser. / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +1 degree / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / support platform – monopod.

    Comments greatly appreciated...

Very good colors and compo. Looks like it may be a little over sharpened.

I see where William says it may be a little over sharpened, I can see that on parts of the blossom. But great photo! wonderful details.

Good looking bug and perch Gus !! I like when they sit on such a beautiful flower
Sharpening wise I usually like doing the bug separate since it can stand a little more !!!

Another beautiful capture Gus. Knowing how you painstakingly set up your images, was the bee there by invitation? Missed you last week. Congrats!!
