What a beauty, and the image is pretty good to. Wonderful sharpness you can almost feel the velvet, good muted light and soft colours. No problems at all with the foliage. Excellent!
Ditto Ken too! :). Like the crop as presented too Steve, and the placement within the frame. The soft lighting compliments the deer and velvet a treat.
Exceptional work mate. I love the sticks framing around the antlers. the light is super and it's razor sharp. Phew! What a beauty this is. thanks for sharing. :)
Nicely framed and lighting is sweet. I might tone down the stick in the BG just left of the antler, not a big distraction but think it might help a little.
Classic image, Steve. Beautifully exposed, eye contact, the comp is excellent, and the lovely texture of the rim lit velvet antlers adds a lot. Very nice work.
Hi Steve, good choice on the comp. The softer light has brought out excellent detail, and just love the direct eye contact. If I had to change anything, I would want this larger. Print and frame.
