Canon 1D, EF 100- 400 f/ 4.5- 5.6 L @ 129 mm. and my 550 EX flash at reduced manual power with tripod. My exposure was 1/100 sec @ f/ 13.0 ISO 320.

Very intresting! I like the contrasting colors and that the edges arent totally uniform in petal shape. I had the pleasure of meeting Rick a few years ago......quite inspiring. Nicely done.

Charles this is beautiful but this is the type of image that really belongs in the OOTB forums. Any time you heavily manipulate the original image into another shape or style it really goes into the OOTB forums down below.
