Another image captured in the Okavango delta Botswana.
The image was captured at first light.
The Bg is papyrus. I just like the light and environment captured in this shot. i hope you dont find the BG to be too busy/distracting.

Great wing position and eye contact. Nice light. I think the BG is great! Well done!

This is as perfect for me as possible. As I was watching the image load, my heart was palpitating from the wing detail as it was slowly revealed. This is an incredibly wonderful and well executed BIF. Man, love the BG too! TFS. :)

I love the richness of the colours and the details. The background is excellent in my opinion. Gorgeous image overall.

Excellent image. Fantastic light, great capture. I love the BG as well and it looks like the MKIII can deal with the focusing difficulties of this situation well. Congratulations.

Love the bg, great action shot.
Wish the top of the head was a little more defined. Maybe a quick dodge on the top of the head.
    Beautiful image.

I find aquatic birds against a foliage BG always seem to produce a better image, rather than against a simple sky. I like the wing position Dave, and good exposure overall. Well captured.
