I can see you wanted to create space for the little guy, but taking a bit off the top and bottom would still leave loads of space. The lark is nice and sharp, showing good detail. I would try and blend away the two darker areas in the left of the BG.

Like the extra room around the bird. Great BG, nice HA. Wish you got this in better light. Would have been better if the tip of the mound was not obstructing the bird's feet and parts of its wing.

The BG is nice, but I think you've included a little too much in this crop; I'd go a little tighter. I also wish the perch didn't obstruct the view of the legs.

I agree with Doug about the crop and the BKGR. Going in tighter would improve this picture in my opinion.

    Thanks for sharing

Going tighter comp-wise would be better...but the IQ looks a little suspect - is this already a large crop?

Sorry for that piece of soil hiding the bird's legs...

I agree with others here. The bird is too small for my old eyes to evaluate image quality. It appears to be otherwise a very fine image. Good exposure, background and pose. Can't see a catch light at this size, or feather detail. I almost always have to corp at least 50% on small birds.

i do agree with all of you but this was taken with sun on top and from the very far distance and yes this is 50% crop so if i go further it would have been a un-justice with this beautiful bird to have no detail visible :) also here i expected a scape kind of image because of limitation so lets face the reality of not having portrait but just a bird scape.

Ditto the tighter crop and wish for perch not blocking the bird. Like the BG and eye contact :)

Not bad for an already large crop. You did your best Bhai. Appreciate the explanation. It's a nice image, but not quite perfect from some aspects. Thanks for sharing Mital Bhai. :)
