    Joel, this promising image suffers from a lack of resolution - it is only 56.5 KB. You should re-post it.

    Nice setting and reflection. I agree that it looks soft as presented, maybe due to compression. The head angle is not ideal. You could check out this link addressing this topic: http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ead.php?t=4242

    Disagree big time. For years I posted < 50 kb images in our BAA Online Bulletins and they all looked great. The problem surely lies either with the quality of the original capture or poor image optimization skills or both.

    This image has a fine basic COMP and the exposure looks fine but the quality of the JPEG is exceedingly poor and the head turned away is an image killer (see aAel's link above).
