    I can't stop being amazed at the ability of these bisons to withstand such cold climate. Thanks for sharing.

    super shot! I would just be confused with so many whites in a scene ;)

    That looks really cold, vey evocative it reminds me of the old B & W pictures of the Wild West we used to get in magazines when I was a child (a long time ago!) Great stuff!

    It is amazing that these beasts could tolerate such cold climes...the shot definitely conveys it.

    On a similar note, the Indian Bison (Gaur) looks similar, except has much less hair. The hair must be trapping air to keep the animal insulated from the cold...

    Charles, I like the frontal shot you have presented elsewhere better, although this one is good too.

    Fabulous demonstration of insulation Chas. This is good in it's difference, but also prefer your head on shot.

    That looks just way too cold to survive! Excellent example of Mother Nature's ability for her animals to survive even the harshest of conditions.

    I'm liking how the little creek comes into and then back out of the frame and how it provides a path for the bison to enter the pic. The rest of it is pretty good too.
