A bison-baboon merge. The original was taken outside a safari tent in Kenya, but was out of focus. I've been looking for a way to use it for years. I used various filters and masking in CS4 and Topaz to blend the colors to appear more realistic. Thanks for looking.

I might not have guessed Baboon, but could tell it was a primate of some species. Very cool idea Cheryl. I like it and you worked hard to make it look so fine. Thanks for sharing. :)

I always suspected that genetics and stem cell research might ethically stretch too far. What else may lurk in that dark seller laboratory of Dr. Cindy Cone ( alias, Dr. CLONE). Vary creative, Fun and hard extraction to do. I wonder if instead of making the Baboon image (color, hue, contrast) match the Bison head, that if making the Bison match the quality of the Baboon and it's natural surroundings might have offered a slightly more natural appearance. That way the natural background would go through less change.

    Fun, conjure up some more.

Thanks for your comments, Randy and Dave.

Randy, I did have a hard time getting the colors to blend the way I wanted, and I think your suggestions are good ones.

I'll see what I can develop in my laboratory for the future.

    Dr. C.
