    A bird wtch is not verry common in Holland and rare to spot but I was lucky that day as where other birdlovers at our country. I know that the green leeves at the BG wil disturb a little bud it is a part of his enviroment.

    Olympus E3, Zuiko ED300 F2.8, Zuiko 2.0 converter, 600mm focuslength, F8, 1/500sec, ISO400, 0 stop

    Hi Alexander,
    Good looking bird and very sharp. I am not sure about the crop, I would take some off the bottom and add on top and in front if you have it.

    I think Adams idea for the crop is right on target. Otherwise it's a wonderful image with great color and detail.

    Wow, alex, lovely image, loved the low angle, the light is good and good details, I am not too sure of the OOF grass.. congrats...

    Congrats on your rare find! I like the alert feeding pose. Fine detail is somewhat lacking in the plumage and I do find the grass a little distracting. Thanks for sharing!

    Excellent capture of a tough bird to photograph if they are anything like the similar species we have down here.
