Great Blue Heron landing
I was cleaning up some files on my computer yesterday and was pleasantly surprised when I ran across this image from last summer that I had passed over previously. Photographed at Wakodahatchee Wetlands in south Florida.

Awsome image. Tack sharp and full of energy. Yes, HA could have been better but if it had, given light angle, eyes and lores would have been in shadow. That would have been worse IMO than the less-than-perfect HA. Nice find in your files!
Like the landing pose with the spread wings. Good detail & colours. Ditto Dean on head angle & catchlight. Nice surprise and thanks for sharing.
Beautiful Great Blue with the cupped wings. Great colors and clarity and nice to find a goodie in the back files.
The viewfinder is my guidance.
I wish for a better HA and no shadow on the far wing. Nevertheless, a wonderful image overall. Thanks for sharing. :)
