I wish we could see the feet so much. This image has SOOO much going for it. I find the angle of the OOF FG green line and the dark BG line makes me want to do a serious CW rotation, which may not be correct. Can you see that? Razor sharp and the grub is a huge bonus. Thanks for sharing! :)

Mital, I agree on just a little clockwise rotation (not CCW as suggested above). Getting low is great but I think you are a bit too low here. If shooting from a slightly elevated position would get more of the legs then I think that would be the way to go. Love the little snack the bird has, the lighting and back side view are all wonderful.

    Good Shooting!

    Mital,

Warm light and sharpness/detail are tops! Meal is a big big plus. Wish I could see his feet and tail.

    Mital,

These birds always make me smile as they are so neat looking. The little morsel of food adds a ton to the image and the lighting is amazing. I agree with some of the others and wish we could see the feet. Great job otherwise!!

Man, I really do miss those feet, and the tip of the tail. Getting higher by about two inches would have been just about perfect. Excellent exposure and sharpeness, great HA, and the prey hanging at the tip of the bill is very cool. I like how we can follow an almost perfect arc from tip of crest to tip of prey!!

Like the soft light and the feel in the image. Agree on the feet and tail part. Understand it not easy to get everything perfect as we like ;) Well captured Mital.

This is one heck of a shot Mital. Like it as you presented it. Beautifully sharp and dinner a huge plus. The only thing I can imagine topping this is the "raised crest" , :):):), but I gotta be out of my mind wishing for that as well.

Superb sharpness and the feeding behavior is a big plus. A shame about the feet. Have you considered a tighter crop, such as a head shot? That way the missing feet won't be noticeable.

Wow, Mital, great light and subject, love the OOF BG because of the green color and the food is the icing in the cake. I don't mind not seeing the feet or tail, as long as you had a little more room for them.
Glad to see you back :)

This bird is like some high-fashion super model on a runway... the last thing you care about is looking at her feet! There is so much else going for this shot, wonderful light, sharpness and exposure, I don't even mind the slope it's standing on (birds are capable of that ;)) Great as presented IMHO.

I like the FG blur. The light, low angle and the caterpillar in the beak makes this top image.
