    Default Millinocket sunrise

Taken from a boat as the sun came up. 1DmkIIn, 70-200f4 IS @ 93mm AV @ f4, ISO1000, 1/80. Boosted the saturation some and ran NR. Just two of us out there with the captain, on a boat with an alarm that kept going off. It wouldn't have been the worst thing to float out there all day.

awesome colors, carole. i like the simplicity and serenity of the scene. some mid-tone contrast really would pop that sky some more.

    Hi Carole,
I like the composition, image and capture...love the colors and the soft peaceful feeling it conveys...Two suggestions, You need to level the water line by adjusting it a .40 degrees CW rotation, and would clone out the dark little hump to the left side of the frame, my eye keeps going there...aside from this, well done...:)

Wow Carole, what a sunrise!! You captured a real beauty here. If it's Millinocket, it must be Maine?? Staring at your image I can hear the loons as if I were there. Boy, does this bring back wonderful memories. Thanks for sharing this image. I'm looking forward to your next one. Nice!!!

Peaceful and colorful, I agree with Gus on the clone thing. I like the colors as presented, not too over the top.

    Nice picture.

Big-time beautiful Carole! So serene and the colors are superb. Agree with cloning out the rock. For my personal cropping taste, I would take a tad off the top, just below the dark clouds but that's just my taste and not a criticism. Really lovely as presented!

Composition is wonderful and love the colors. You can look at this all day - must belong on a wall.

Beautiful scene Carole....I would leave the small little hump on the left. it gives my eye a place to rest. Also I would agree with a small crop from the top but thats just my two cents.
