    D2Xs, 600, ISO 250, f9, 1/640, -0.3EV.

I placed a branch from a peach tree over my drip pond during migration.
I cut a small hole in the peach and it was not long before the birds that were making their way down to bath and drink stopped along the way to feed on the fruit.
I had about half a dozen species feeding on this one set up.

Great colors and action Alan. Would be nice to have a HA more toward the camera. Otherwise, another good shot. I'm envious of your texas birds. :)

I like the framing a lot. I also like the colors and the action. Not too fussed about the head angle. It does appear that the leaves just ended beyond the left frame edge. If you had the original showing the leaves entirely, I would prefer that way. It's still a ripper as is though. :)

Another stunning image from you. Do you shoot most of your images in the vertical format in anticipation of another cover shot? :)

Hey Jim, I shoot vertical when it is called for, but not with a cover in mind. I'd say its 50-50 with vertical V Horizontal.
