    For now this will be the last image I'll show you from Ireland. This was one I was really going for after seeing some of the birds flying in with nest material. A headshot with the parent really showing off its nest material. I went for the high ISO here to get the highest chance of a very sharp image with good DOF.

    Canon EOS 50D 1/1250 f9
    ISO 640
    Canon 100-400mm L IS USM F3.5-4.5
    Focal Length 400mm

    I hope he knows what to do with the tangled mess he's got for himself. Excellent exposure Krijn, and I like the colours captured on him. I also like the hint of clouds in the BG. Well captured.

    Splendid shot my friend...I love the shadow of the nest material on the chest of the bird as it adds a lot of depth to this photograph. A heroic looking bird.

    Great portrait. The soft background with the clouds works great. The whites look great on the bird. Nice image.

    making me jealous living in florida a great capture.the whites are great and contrast with the yellow as well as the background great capture
