    Default Eyes of the Jungle

    Gray Langur

These eyes always watch over the forest and alert everybody as soon as they spot any predator, so we call them "Eyes of the Jungle" :) ... This monkey is an exposure nightmare and you can see why but I like their wonderfully expressive faces

Wonderful portrait Subharghya! Great detail and you handle the tough exposure between face and fur perfectly.

    Subharghya,
Nice portrait. It is not always easy to get their eyes right.

    Cheers,

Very good looking and interesting portrait. I fin the blacks in the face were a bit blocked, so I used Shadow/Highlight, on a layer, with settings of:
    Amount: 44
    Tonal Width: 67
    Radius: 126

Then created a layer mask and painted black with the brush too to erase the effect from the BG and the light fur at 100% opacity.
Brushed the mouth at 25% opacity to return some black to it.

    Hope you like it.

Wonderful portrait with cracking sharpness. Love that slightly cocked head as if to say, "you looking at me, so what". Very well done.

Very good work mate, Fabs' repost is tops. I am trying to ignore that border as you had requested. :D Thanks for sharing. :)

Good light and good capture... I have a similar shot and these are very difficult to meter properly. You did a great job.

    Thanks for sharing.
