    Robert,
I'm going to ask the most annoying question that can be asked with an image like this: where's the rest of the reflection?

A complete reflection and an inch cropped off of the right would do it for me :)

I did not have all of the reflection so I chose to cut it rather then clip it. I was more playing around to see how the flash would illuminate the mangrove and see if I could get it sharp at the slow shutter speed. Then I decided to try for the pano and shot the next frame over. I have one that has just the bottom of the reflection touching the bottom of the image. Do you think that one would be better?

Repost below with as much reflection as blending four images together could get. Not sure I am totally happy with it.

Really love the light in this image, Robert. I think if the reflection had more detail, it would add to the image. To me, it's the dark circle in the water (the reflected portion of the right side of the tree) that makes the full reflection awkward. I think I'd go with the original.

Thanks Blake. That was my original thought as well.

I see what you mean--but thanks for posting the original! Blake's right that you should probably stick with the crop.
    Cheers!

I really like the simplicity of this Robert. Very typical of the wetlands on the coast. The lack of a complete reflection doesn't bother me at all mainly because the water isn't very smooth. If it were a perfectly calm day, a full reflection would definitely benefit the image.

Robert, I created this because there was nothing else to do. This year has been a real bear with one weather front after another screwing the whole place up. Best days so far this year was 2/3 and 2/4.
