Friends, among you all some may not like borders around images so, I am sorry about the gray border .. I personally favor borders around my images so wherever I post my images I post it like this ... As I am linking it on BPN so it is shown as it is posted on the other site .. I could have removed the border and kept a version for BPN on my website but my web space is limited so it will become difficult in the long run .. I will request you all to kindly ignore the borders from now on .. Thanks :)

I like the dark green background and the bird on the left is nicely exposed and sharp. I find the motion blurred head of the bird on right and the large perch to be distracting.

Wonderful light and a nice BG. I like the motion of the bird on the right, but it needs the sharply focused bird on the left to work. The perch is large, but the dark tonality helps minimize its visual impact.

The head motion blur kinda spoils it for me, but I do like the overall scene you had here. Always great to have two individuals interacting nicely together!

The light on the hoopoe's show up their colours nicely, and you have also exposed them well enough too. They certainly stand out against the darker BG, and the larger perch doesnt bother me too much. I do wish the guy on the right would have kept his head still.

    Ditto Stuart.

The light on the birds is wonderful. I like the dark background and the texture on the perch. I wish there wasn't motion blur on the bird on the right.

I really like this. I might have done a horizontal version and eliminated some of the dark trunk. But this is a matter of taste and I like the image as is. The border does not bother me.

I echo Doug's assessment. I think the lighting is great overall and enhances the image. Well done and TFS. :)

Great lighting. The lighting makes the image. Since the spotlight is on the birds the large perch does not bother.
