I like the landing pose, and you have exposed the gull nicely. Lovely red ring around the eye, and agree taking off the top will work.

Art, I like the pose and the exposure looks good. I wish the bird was more in the blue area of the BG, but I do like the soft color BG with the clouds as it adds some interest.TFS
