    Hi Loong-Tat,

Lovely subject here and very very sharp for 1/4 of a second. Lovely colours, good HT and catchlight. Maybe my eyes are deceiving me but it looks like your noise reduction/gaussian blur wasn't selective enough and you also blurred some parts of the perch and bird (around the edges). I would run just a tiny bit of noise reduction on the bird as well, copying it on a seperate layer and playing with the oppasity layer to see what does the trick. Additionally, I would suggest to remove the green cast on the right part of the perch, I would try to do this with the clone stamp in the colour mode, cloning the colours of the left part of the perch into the green casted part of the perch. In any case a great effort! Well done

Another species of KF that Ive never seen. Great pose and HA, and love the detail and colours on him. I agree with Krijn regarding the bottom edge of the perch being affected by your NR.

This is a great result for 1/4 SS. Seeing this species for the first time and thanks for sharing. I would like to see it without any BG blurring, if at all any blurring was done while post-processing. Congrats for capturing this elusive species.

    Hi
Thank you for your kind words and comments. Sorry about the poor PP.Still very new at it. Other than NR of the BG no other blurring of the BG was done.

    Cheers,
    Loong Tat
