Lovely pose Ken. Is that dirt I can see falling out of the ear?. Could go a tad darker.

    Hi Ken,
You may want to try a reverse s-curve on this to tame some of the contrast. Robert Amoruso has a tutorial here; http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ad.php?t=20434
I would also consider cropping out the BG tree/bush....but it does then become a tight crop.....and that isn't to everyones liking. Love the stretch pose.

Tough light and angle (fully understand why) - but you gotta love the pose and expression on the dog's face. Definitely worth a bit of rework per the above suggestions.

    Thanks for the good suggestions
Here is a rework, does it work, I think so.

I have been on the ground with Wild Dog but not many places allow you to do this, a humbling experience.

Looking at the orig the dirt appears to be on his coat.

Did well with the FG on the repost. I like the cuteness of this image. Very nice moment. Well captured. :)

Great stretching pose, and your rework has handled the contrast nicely!
