Way cool Bill I was looking at one today and passed it up !!! Flash work very natural !! Just fine as presented !!! Big Congrats !!!
Bill, Nice rendition of a very interesting subject. Good handling of the flash with nice soft light. I like the 5 yellow areas that greatly adds to the interest within the image. Sharp detail with a pleasing backround. Very nicely presented!
Gorgeous lighting in the BG, Bill. Good details and lots to keep the viewer interested. What a neat image!
Thanks, Al, Dave, Julie! Dave, I thought the 5 yellow areas added interest as well, and that was my primary reason for choosing this seed pod to shoot. regards~Bill
Other than a some area at the top looks a bit soft, probably due to DOF, sharp and interesting image overall !
Desmond: You were not supposed to notice that! I guess its back to the drawing board, I mean lotus pods. Thanks~Bill
Very interesting image well seen and executed.

William,
This is very artistic and scientific as presented. Love your vision on this one. Earth tone colors are extremely well captured here.
Thanks for sharing...
