Can't ask for better eye contact. Good exposure and BG. Maybe some more room all around, wish the perch didn't end at the wing's edge, it looks like it's propping it up. Still an awsome shot as is.

Exceptional shot, perfect exposure against the sky, nice detail, I also think crop is a bit too tight. Congrats.

Awesome shot! Super sharp. The only thing I can say is I agree with the tight crop, you might want to give a little more space toward the lower left if you have it. Good work.

Not many shots make me wish it were mine.. this is one.. I think hawk owls are
soooo cool. Great exposure, and sharp image. I love the composition, the position of the
owl in the frame. (a tad too tight but a truly wonderful shot).

The bird is beautifully photographed, and the composition really makes this interesting.
    Love the opposing angles here.

Stunning. Glad to see you posting again.

Agree that it is a bit tight and the branch poking into the wing is a bit distracting.

Superb colours, textures and BG Jody. I don't mind the tight crop here - suits the square format. Wonder if the sharpening could be backed off a smidge in parts.

I like the angled pose, great eye contact, and you have captured good detail in this. A little room top, bottom and right would work. Well captured.

Super pose and eye contact! I'm envious! Not crazy about the long branch poking the wing, but I'd love to have this photo in my portfolio. I like the square crop, but would give the bird a little more room in the frame.

I love this shot. Pose, sharpness exposure and background are perfect. I like tighter crops myself, especially for web with limited image sizes because it makes it easier to see the subject image quality.
