In this image, I cropped off the birds that were seen in the background in my last Bosque posting. The vertical lines are their reflections. This is a different image, but very similar. I'll post this pre-cropped original for comparison if requested. All comments and suggestions for improvement are appreciated.

    A sweet image Ron,
I like the capture...you were dealing with harsh side light, but you did very well...I like the color rendition and the sharp feather details, sharp eye contact, and the down ward wing stroke is very nice...the soft reflection is a plus...congrats...looking forward to your next one...

    Ron,

The reflections from the top kinda mess with my eye. Could just be me, let's see what others say. Nice shot and exposure data is fine. Thanks for the time stamp, we should ask everyone to do the same, very helpful.

Hi Ron, nice work to get this one! Very good exposure and excellent detail! I love the primaries touching the water, one of my favorite "motifs" for BIF. If it were mine, I might take a tad off the bottom as the reflection is a bit large to not be whole, if you know what I mean. ;)

    Really nice Ron !!!

Agree with Kerry on this one and would take some of the bottom, will give better proportion, enhance forward motion and make bird larger in frame. Sweet water and love the feel !!!

Nice capture here, good details and good exposure. The wing tip touching the water is a really big plus, love it. Agree about cropping off the bottom, also agree with Jeff about the reflection at the top.

Thanks very much to everyone for the feedback. I will crop off the bottom. I think it's good advice.
