Cool pose, eye contact and the dragonfly adds to it. I might sharpen the head selectively, there seems to be some motion blur.

Excellent colors and creamy soft BG, love the dragonfly in the beak, excellent behavioral shot. I agree with Axel, focus seems to be on the soft side.

Love the colors. The bug in the beak certainly adds interest. Agree about a tad of selective sharpening on the head.

Super angle Dave, showing the the dorsal view nicely. I feel you have exposed the colours nicely, and his catch a bonus.

Definitely a keeper in my books. But it just seems a bit off in sharpness. Congrats, JR

Great shot. I like the open wings and the prey in in the birds bill. Very well done.

Great posture and eye contact! Personally I would have gone for ISO 800 to get at least 1/2500 shutter speed. I think that would have elimnated the slight softness on the head?

Excellent Dave, super colours and a great flight angle and BG with a nice catch. The head don't look all that soft to me but then again maybe I need glasses. no joke :)

Would have been a killer without the motion blur Sir. I do like it though. Thanks for sharing. :)
