Beautiful image Fabs. Love the over the soulder look with perfect head angle. Perch is super and I love how you can clearly see the " red" shoulder which is usually not so easy to see. BG is great and I love the OOF greenery underneath. This is why I want to move to Florida. Congrats

    Fabs:

Easy to see where the name for this bird came from in your image. Nice look back pose, good feather detail, well exposed, comp. I particularly like the curving perch with matching trees behind that repeat the line.

I might toy with the idea of cloning out the bit of green above the perch on the right, just to emphasize the curving line theme.

    Thanks!

    Randy

PS: I was typing at the same time as Brian, sorry for the repeats.

This is one cooperative bird. I like the 'friendly and curious' look-back pose - there goes my anthropomorphism of the day :) - sharpness and exposure control and also that you included the vegetation at the bottom.

What a beauty, Fabs. I like the direct eye contact and the simple, clean composition.

The pose, perch and light are lovely. I like the inclusion of the OOF vegitation below the perch.

Beautiful image Fabs. The OOF green in the BG gives it a great base.

great details and exposure in a simple comp. I would clone out the green blotch above the perch, since I like the effect that the perch 'arches' over the treetops.

Excellent shot Fabs, there is something especial about composition and that is the branch is almost like a bridge the bird is standing on, separating green from blue! not to mention eye contact and sharpness, I guess you can still brighten up the eye a bit. Great as usual
