    Default Semipalmated Plover #2

This was taken the same day as the last one I posted. Most didn't like the messy sea weed in the last. This one is much cleaner as is the BG. I wished his feet were visible and I should have given him more room at the bottom, I just got excited when he got close and must not have thought about the comp. This is just about full frame other than what I had to crop due to a slight CCW rotation. Should be going back this afternoon for some more, hopefully I keep my composure.;) Thanks for looking. All C/C appreciated.

Very nice pose and head angle. Missing feet is one price to pay often for low angle. Great EXP control, the bill could use additional sharpening. I like the BG, but the foreground is still a bot distracting.
    Good luck today!

    Brian:

very good exposure, I really like the colors here, background blue works very well with the bird.

I agree with Fabs about the foreground, but I think if you cloned out the few small twigs sticking up, esp. the two on the left, that it would work well.

Yes, its hard sometimes when you get excited, to compose yourself, so you can get the perfect composition, but this is pretty darn close, just a sliver more below would be nice, and the low angle is worth not seeing the feet.

I like the light, head angle and sharpness and wish for a slightly higher angle to include the missing feet.

The low angle, BG and the light are great. The missing feet does not bother me much.

Great bird and pose, I love the BG as well.
The missing feet are of course unfortunate but to be expected at low angles.

Hi Brian, I will go against the grain on this one, i really don't care about the feet, we all know they are there and what they look like:D. The bird is very sharp and you have a very nice BG.
    Congratulations and good luck.

I like the light in this Brian, and well exposed too. Good detail, sharp, and apart from the two darker areas in each corner, I like the BG.

Wow, Brian, looks great.... the light and the low angle makes this. congrats... I would suggest a little more space at the bottom.

I don't mind the missing feel Brian. I wish you had pointed your camera down just a little for more room though. Don't worry, happens to many of us, of that I am sure. :D Wonderful light and pose. Thanks for sharing.
