    Default Namaqua Dove

I created this image in June in the Kgalagadi. It was a slightly overcast day, and these little doves were coming in to drink at a waterhole in their hundreds. They are very quick, I was very fortunate to finally get one sharp after many failed attempts. Comments welcomed as always and thanks for looking:)

Thanks Morkel, I would say about a 50% crop.

Oh, in that case I would consider leaving a little more space below and in front of the bird. but that's more personal taste :)

Great capture, sharp and well expose. I really like the wing position even though it's not fully up or down, it shows the action well. I can see the evidence of sharpening around the birds, espectually on the left wing, the background all of the sudden gets noisier.

Good-looking specimen, I also like the light, sharpness and only wish we could see the underside of the near wing.

Lovely bird, the surrounding as well BG works perfect, detail is pretty good too, I also see minor sharpening artifacts around the tail but it is very minor. Great shot, thanks for sharing.
