Things are a little slow here and I've got 100 or so Hummingbirds outside. What would you do? :D

this is a fantastic image with fine details to me. just a suggestion to compose the frame little bit more on left and give room on right.

That's awesome, so sharp for 1200 ISO

I like the comp and sharpness on this and agree with the lack of noise at ISO 1200! Did you use any NR?

superb!! lovely double. I am interested to see this as a more portrait-type crop.

Thanks everyone! Bryan, yes, I did use Noise Ninja on the background only.

Charlie I would enjoy the moment. Would love the chance.
You seem to have done just that.
The IQ just amazes me. No flash and such fantastic feather detail, and then both pin sharp.
    Superb colour.

Fantastic capture! I love that clean, green background and the fact that both birds are sharp...

Gotta love the ISO capabilities of that D700...! ;)

I wouldn't mind having these cooperative models around, either. :) I like the interaction, sharpness and BG and only wish the bird in flight would face towards you.

Yes, go ahead and kill time with the Hummers. well worth it if you ask me. Lovely pair with neat BG and sharpness.

I'd go outside and do my best to get an image of this quality. Very nice. You've been getting some great interaction shots. This is a great example of one. Nicely done.
