    are rare around here, so I was happy to capture this speciman in flight.
    Nikon D700, Nikon 600mm F4 AF-S with Kenko Pro 300 1.4
    ISO 400 1/1600 @ F7.1
    Manual Exposure
    AF-C, Focus+Release Priority, 9 Point Dynamic AF.

    Great pose, exposure & sharpness. Fantastic background. Only wish the right wing was a bit higher to see more of the underside. JR

    Great flight image, excellent pose, HA, wing position. Veru nice BG and composition.
    I like it a lot. There is a white line just behind the eye, is that real? Probably early molting stage...

    Exposure is great, comp is good, Bg colour is nice. Ditto Dan on contrast, not only in sharpness but also in colour.
    Did you run a NR on the bird?

    Good find, I have no idea where this species is numerous. The BG and eye contact make this one for me.
