    Hi Erik, I like the eye contact. I think that you could use just a touch more sharpening. It would be nice also to get him up off the ground too.

    Nice pose on the bird and very well captured colors. Agree about sharpening, also
    I only wish you had lower angle. The whites on the tail look flat, I'd tone them down.

    I like the pose, soft light and mood and agree regarding more sharpening of the bird. I would put the bird further to the right in the frame because of the head angle.
