    one from today at butterfly world. man, it was hot and hard to think!! didnt get much, but think i managed a couple.

    added a reflector and darken/lighten center.

    D300, Sigma 150mm, f/4, 1/1000s, 0EV, ISO 200

    thanks for looking. comments and critiques much appreciated.

    I like it Doctor, I like the capture from the bottom...the color rendition is spot on and so are the fine details...Love the baby blue sky...:cool:

    Harold, I like the angle you chose to shoot this from. Very nice colors and placement of your flower.

    harold,

    I love the use of a reflector and the light management. Very unique composition and that makes the image in my opinion. The picture is simple, compelling and colorful.

    Hi Harold, This is so clean and colorful. The angle of view and colors really make this image for me. The only thing I would look at changing is to take a little off the top, but that's just my personal preference. I think this one really works, and I like it very much. I especially like the darken/lighten center. Nicely done!!

    Was this one with the pop up flash? Love seeing you use it .. I had forgotten I had one with a flash !!!! Neat colors and very pleasing

    .... btw my best picture of the day was the fake butterfly display I did on the way out :)

    Love the color and placement in this one, it does looks like the flower is looking up into the sky above.

    but you were at like +2EV and blowing out the sky?
