Sandhill Landing
Another image from my trip to Bosque last Thanksgiving. I really fell in love with these birds.
I like the pose, wing position and motion blur... especially since the eye is still pretty well in focus. Anxious to here what you think. I don't like the noise, but haven't graduated to CS3 and the additional noise plug-ins so NR in Lightroom was cranked up.

I wish for a little more room for the virtual feet to breathe and more of a wing on the right one. Great sharpness in the head :)
You can use Noise Ninja in CS2. It has a noise brush ;)
Great striding pose and wing position. Too bad you didn't have better light. The head could be a bit sharper for my taste and I would give it more space at the bottom for the virtual feet. In lieu of NR, you could despeckle the BG or use Gaussian Blur at 2 pixels.
After loading and looking again I actual did think about adding some space on bottom... ("Virtual Feet"... I like that.) I went forward thinking... If it needs it I will here it. My eye continues it's delvelopement!
Fabs... Are ther plugins like that for Lightroom?

Go to Filter - Noise or Filter - Blur in Photoshop.
