Thought I would try my hand again stacking the 1.4&2x TCs. This was taken at a shrinking subdivision retention pond. A wide variety of shorebirds were there this morning.

Great eye contact and low angle, foot coming out of water adds to the image. Colors and detail are very good too, I like the spark (water drop?) at the end of the beak. Great shot.

Again good job with the stacking...as posted the results look quite acceptably sharp. Seenig that the reflection is quite weak and that you have too much space below (IMO) I would only include the legs, and I wouldn't mind a bit more room above. I also find the dark object below the raised foot distracting.

Crop suggestion is a good one. I guess the dark object below the raised foot is a depressed area of splash? It is a bit distracting. There is a small spot of splash to the right of the frame that I would have gotten rid of as it looks too much like a dust speck even though it isn't.

    Great detail for stacked converters.

Amazingly sharp for the stacked TCs. I agree with Dan's suggestion to have more room at the top and less at the bottom. I find the specular highlight at the tip of the beak distracting.

Great low angle, exposure & sharpness. JR

Nice work with the stacking, Excellent pose and great BG color, HA and eye contact too.
Agree about the crop from bottom, otherwise I like it very much.

I must say great details with the telecons...the light and pose work well, the dark patch below the feet distracts a bit. congrats..

Good job on the clean-up!!, and I like the bottom crop. Good reconstruction of the claw tip. I think you may have added a bit too much room above.

I like the repost. I think the other commentor suggested only removing the large dark spot at the tip of the foot. I think if you left other minor spots in the water it adds a little action. Thanks fior sharing Very good image.
