    Default Snowy Upclose

I was lucky to get a minimal focus shot of this snowy using the 400 5.6. A colorful background is not usual for snowy photos, hope this is not a trend :)

Shot handheld on a bushhawk, EXIF intact, Baited

    Thanks for looking :)

Amazing that this is not a captive bird. How much of a crop is this? The BG really is unusual and I like the exposure control. I'm wondering if a bit more space on the left would improve it or not.

This guy filled half my frame in this unexpected low fly-by. The details in the eye and face are very nice but I was looking for opinions on the crop. Does this crop work or should I have left more room on the left?

    Thanks

WOW - exceptinal closeup. I would look for a little more room on the left if you have it. The crop as is, is just a bit too cramped for me.
