Haven't been around here for a while because the heat is terrible for outdoor shooting. Anyhow decided to go to Long key this afternoon to try and find the owl, but this is one of the few birds around.

    Nikon D300, Sigma 300-800mm @ 750mm, F5.6, 1/2500, ISO 400, Aperture Priority, Exposure Comp @ -2/3

    .. and a good one Oscar !!!

Excellent PS work Image looks natural, good color reproduction and just right usm !!! If anything might give it a tad more room !!!

Also got a fine looking bird doing a cool behavior .. nailed this one !!! .. best thing to do in summer is going after bugs :)

Composition, image and capture are good, I like the sharp feather details and the color rendition is good, with a good head angle and sharp eye...looking forward to more...

Really nice Oscar. Good colours, sharpness, and pose. Didn't think there was a downd-side to Florida. How are you enjoying that lens?

Hi Oscar....great color and sharpness. You might consider adding some canvas to the right hand side.
