    Very interesting image, Richard. Looks like a watercolour pencil sketch. How did you process this? Did you overexpose to achieve the high key effect or has this been pushed in post. I quite like the symmetry but wonder about a version with some cropped from below and canvas added to the left.

    Hi,

    I achieved this effect basically using levels in pp. The original was horizontally cropped with more of the bg below and to the left, but I preferred this crop. Thanks for the comment.

    Here's the version before I applied levels and re-cropped. I'm still not sure which version looks better.

    Well done on the bird reflection and especially the bg reflection. I really like the bg reflection. I suppose other options are also possible given the nice elements of the photo. Dave
