    Default Wild Flower

I saw this flower in a big open field, I don't know what it is. I'm not sure about it being in the center but since it was long and skinny and by it's self I thought it might work. All C&C is welcome and much appreciated.

    Hi Kyle

Center is fine here but would crop into more of a pano !! I like the idea for this image but might have worked better using a smaller aperture for rendering the bg smoother and also having a better sun angle.

You can smooth out the bg in PS to simulate the larger aperture !!! Got a keeper !!!

Totally agree with all of Alfred points, a tighter crop on the sides and a shallower f-stop to soften the BG more.

I'm not so good with PS yet, But i hope this is o.k. I cropped and blurred BG more. Thanks for the comments :)

Kyle, I like the repost better but I can see some really dark areas on the right side of your flower. In field, I would have tried to shield the flower with my body to soften the light a bit. In pp, I did a shadow/highlight adjustment to open up the darker side some more. I also did a hue/saturation adjustment on just the greens and that toned down the yellow quality a bit more.
