    Arctic Tern from last Monday on Machias Seal Island, NB, Canada - 1dmk3 on 500f4 hand held, iso400, 1/2000, f7.1, aiServo, manual exp. Pano crop - too much sky above in FF. Bob

    I like the pose, open bill and sharpness and would lighten the shadows, maybe also a bit more NR on the BG.

    Do people agree that the island belongs to Canada?

    Fine image. Comp. exposure and Bg all add to it. Love the wing position.

    Nice calling pose, and light. I would definitely lighten up the underside. I really want to take a trip there someday.

    Beautiful in flight photo Bob. As Alex suggested a little lighten of the shadows. In person the eyes are difficult to see, but in a photo I prefer to help Mother Nature with a little more definition.

    Bob, You've created a beautiful image of this tern, with a nice wing spread and open bill. Colors are beautiful. THere are a couple sensor spots, both near wing tips that I'd remove, otherwise, i like this very much.
