I have been in the Eager to Learn forum and it was suggested I move here.

This was taken on the Texas Gulf Coast in late afternoon.

I like this quite a bit. Rendering the water as a very dark blue almost black creates a nice mood. Love the lighter blue swirls just in front of the head. Rather than suggest a VERT as I thought originally, I would have preferred it just a bit wider so as to include all of the head REFL. Do you have more below? When I do wander into ETL I see many folks who should be posting here. In reality, everyone here is also eager to learn including me.

Good suggestion, and welcome to the big leagues

Very dramatic image. The dark water adds alot to this image and the detail is amazing.

I too love the darkness here and I'd like a little more room bottom and right to give him more room to look/swim into. Congrats on your move.

Striking shot Kathy. Love the crispness, lighting and mood from the water. Be nice to have a tad more room as mentioned. Congrats on your move.

Love the dark, mysterious mood you had created. In fact, I am happy with the angle of view because of it portraying the dark, eerie water. A lower angle perhaps would not have given you that effect. A little more room all around and you are in business. Thanks for sharing and keep up your great work! :)

Fantastic image Kathy. Like the mood and colours. The sharpness and water colour makes the image very striking.
