Hi all, I am sorry I have not been participating much, I have a lot going on here.
Here's an image from a few months ago, I just desaturated it and with levels created a plain B&W image. What do you think? Comments critiques and suggestions are welcome.

I've also removed the clipped birds from the edges.

    Enjoy.

Not enough birds. Too many merges... There are, however, some cool wing positions there.

Thanks Artie, I actually like the untidyness here and the different poses, even the black dots work to me as, IMO (very personal of course) they give the feeling of and ink splah, more birds would have been better I know, but I still like it as it is. Thanks again!

I like the splotches and the black dots and the abstract look, I just do not like the merges. For me, the merges violate one of my primary artistic principles: no merges!

Very artistic Ramon. Looks like someone splashed black paint onto a plain canvas. Very nice, what are they?

I ahve to admit I'm pretty much on the fence for this one. Very cool idea though, and I see your point about the resemblance to ink splashes.

BTW I've copied this image over to Out Of The Box, Toned, Desaturated, Hand Colored and Infra Red as it is perfect for that forum too :-)

Looks good to me amigo. At first though I was thinking you didn't clean your sensor (sorry, had to be a cheeky SOB). :D

It's pretty cool I think. I would probably PP a bit more and make sure no merges are visible. :)

Hi Ramon, I would agree with a frame to contain the image; you could also clone out the merges or clone them down. I like it!

Very nice image, Artie's take on merges is also a point to be noted....

Creative stuff Ramon. I feel more open wing positions would have a added to the image.
